If you haven’t heard, there is a giant meteor headed for Earth called Apophis in 2029, named after the ancient Egyptian God of Chaos.
We know because smart people at NASA created The Near Earth Object Observations Program in 1998.
It was built to track all asteroids a kilometre or more in size.
Canadian Press and Oovvuu report NASA on the 19,000 near Earth objects they have already found, and the 30 new ones their telescopes discover every week.
